Christmas eve

I am all out of order this year but I need to post our Christmas eve festivities.
After a day of hustle and bustle, we went (we invited ourselves) with our wonderful friends, the Zaniewskis, to their church, St. Francis of Assisi catholic church for Christmas eve mass. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved being with our friends and learning more about others beliefs. Our children each had different perspectives and it allowed for some great discussion in the days to follow.

After mass we headed to some other wonderful friends,The Collins, who invited us over for dinner. It was a perfect prime rib dinner with good friends. They had also invited a single man from the ward and it was wonderful to get to know him better.
The kids acted out the nativity and it was a motley crew if I've ever seen one. I think Jeannette took a photo- ill try to get it. Libbie was Joseph, and mary(5 year old Kate) is sticking her tongue out in the picture. It shows pure Christmas Eve excitement... And mostly it shows good friends. Our kids laugh and play( and argue) like cousins... We love it!

It was a great Christmas Eve celebrated with even better friends!

A wonderful Christmas Eve, no doubt, and we are glad. It's good to have friends and to engage in wholesome activities. You all seem to be pretty good at that.

Love you all forever,

Grandpa Bart
