art studio

Libbie got invited to a birthday party at an art studio this year.  This is her kind of party.  Most of the parents stayed because it was way on the other side of town but, of course, it was during a busy week for me so I decided to go grocery shopping to keep up.  I made my list in the car and then fell asleep. Ha! I was so tired, I couldn't even keep my eyes open to go shopping. 

So, when the party end time was nearing I tossed my hair a bit so as not to show that I was sleeping on the job.  When I got in the studio I realized I should have stayed the whole time...our daughter is a slow poke very precise at pretty much everything...including painting.  SO, she and I painted together through ice cream, cake and completed her beautiful piece of art.  The girls all had a ball painting -- what a fun party!
