It was Gavin's first time flying. He did great right up until the talk of the air masks- after a short explanation by Mom he was okay again. Libbie has flown a few times so she proudly wore her "experienced flyer" hat.

Everyone was excited to be united again.

Grandpa is a retired Firefighter so we headed to this local museum. Apparently it's the largest in the world. We didn't have high expectations but it exceeded our expectations and then some.

The kids loves the "old stuff."

Grandpa is explaining an old hose truck. Really old!

As we made it into the newer trucks grandpa started to get a bit embarrassed that he used to drive a few of these trucks!

Watch out world - these guys are to the rescue.

After, we headed to Nelson and Renee's. Lucky for us they are cub scout den leaders right now and had some fun stilts waiting to be used.

Gavin was persistent and got pretty good at it.

Underneath my nice shadow Libbie was getting the hang of it too. Uncle Nelson even gave us a "stilt making kit". ( some screws since we couldn't exactly bring a 2 x 4 on the plane:))

Lucky us- Jess met us for dinner and we had a great time!

Libbie has had a crazy little snaggle tooth that won't come out so I told her is pay her $5 if she lost it in Arizona. Of course, she did!

We love the heated salt water pool in grandpas neighborhood! Swimming in February outdoors is the best.

Who wants wet kids sitting by you? So we tied them up like golf clubs on the way home. They loved it!

One final fun ride on the way home. The tram at las Vegas airport.
Thanks dad, Gavin and Libbie for the fun trip!

I just glanced at the title of this post. I'm going blind or maybe just tired, but my first read was "fist fight". I thought Oh no, Garrett or Gavin must have been protecting their turf. I am sure glad glad it was "First Flight" and that you all had a great time in Arizons. I'm sure Philip missed you all. We love you and are happiest when you are happy too.
Love you all forever.
Grandpa Bart
