time with kids

Of course, I have much much more to blog about than tonight.  But I don't want to yet -- so I'm just going to say this...
I really don't like watching kids movies -- I'm okay with it if there is nothing else, at all, to do -- but when I still have a bazillion things on my list and my kids want me to watch a movie?  UGH.  Now if they asked me to go for a walk, bike ride, park, etc. that's one thing..but a movie?  I just can't stand to waste that much time on one movie.
Well let it be known -- that tonight when Garrett stated very plainly -- "Mom, we'd like you to watch the movie with us this time" I am saying "yes"

Here's to hoping I don't fall asleep again.:)

I heard this one was good. What did you think?

I am with you on not wasting time sitting and watch "a movie". I too have so much to do, but on the top of my list should be making the most of the time I have with my children which would include sitting down and watching a movie when there are 100 things in the other room that need to be done. None are greater than quality time with the kids.

I haven't seen that movie yet though.

Good job saying "yes".

I loved that movie, I took Avery
and Ada to watch it, they learned
a great lesson. All we need is
love to make a better world. Be
glad your kids wanted you to watch
this movie with them, that means
they wanted you to be with them,
nothing can take the place of time
with your kids no matter what you
are doing.

Hope all is getting settled for you

Love, Iris

I feel the same exact way, and rarely make it through a movie without falling asleep. I hope things are going great!

clint and I went to see that movie by ourselves believe it or not...and we liked it. However not a suspenseful can't wait to see what happens next movie:). In light of the fact that you all fell asleep the next night, I'll watch it with the kids when I get there:)
