Oh this is a slow process!!! It's a huge project that we've been putting off for years and now it's grown....we are officially(because I ripped off baseboards and flooring today) getting a new floor and of course that means....staining the banister. Oh dear....will it ever be done???

Also --- (I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed because I JUST figured this out) but those Magic Eraser thingees....yeah, they're MAGIC! I have been trying to figure out how to clean off my cheap off white(who am I kidding...BROWN) window sills and my gross refrigerator door handles for years -- I keep scrubbing with my valiant kitchen rags and to no avail. Tonight I borrowed a Magic Eraser and WHO KNEW -- yeah, I know lots of YOU did...but not me. Some things just take me longer to learn!:) If you didn't know either -- go try it...you'll smile!

Yep...the Magic Eraser is my best friend. I buy them in bulk at Sam's Club. You'll keep be amazed at all those nagging messes you're finally able to clean. (Geez, I'm a walking ad.)

Yes, that magic eraser is MAGIC!!!! however, be careful on painted walls. It is not the best for that. It takes the paint off too.

Good job with the painting. You just keep on going.... the floor and the banister. Ambitious!

Magic Eraser is the bomb! I always have a few stashed away for those nights there are sword fights.

The paint color looks great. As usual, you always do a good job.
