my treat

For Mother's Day each year I ask my family to take me on a picnic. This has been one of my favorite family traditions. Philip made us a yummy pasta salad, we had french bread and creme soda(my favorite!) It was yummy yummy -- but honestly, more than that it was great to just sit outside in the fresh air and enjoy my family. We were lucky to have Jason and Rene's family come and play with us for a bit. Thanks guys -- once again -- lots of fun was had!!

This is the real gift. Seeing them hang out together -- happily.:)

The kids look like they enjoyed
themselves also.

See you on Tuesday,

Oh- Megan, Can you tell me how to make my pics. big like some of yours. They would be so much better for the printed version.

MEgan,
We are glad you had a great Mother's Day. What a wonderful family you and Philip have! Enjoy them all while they're young. They grow up way to fast.

For my mothers day I asked my kids to help me do the yard work. So we did that on Saturday and our usual bbq on Sunday. I absolutely love your idea of a picnic!! What fun and your family is adorable!! We love you guys so much!!

BEAUTIFUL pictures!! Thanks for sharing. I told Will about your Mother's Day tradition. He laughed and said it sounds like the "perfect family" then he compared it to some of the things we used to do when you guys were young. It'll be fun for you to hear your children's memories of your traditions!
