Gavin had his 7th Birthday today. He was so excited about it, he even called his Papa Sweet to make sure he'd talked to him today because he couldn't remember. He's excited that he's lost 7 teeth in 7 years -- even if 3 of them were pulled.;) His Pokemon party is on the 9th -- so the poor boy has to wait for the BIG celebration, but we sang Happy Birthday to him this morning with 7 candles in his pancakes. He LOVED it!
- I love you Gavin because you are compassionate. You care about others feelings. Everyday I ask you and Garrett to do something nice for someone at school and you say "I always do, Mom"
- I love that you help take care of Garrett. I love that you try to understand him and you would defend him to the end.
- I love that you can play with Libbie in any activity from doll houses to Jedi Training.
- I love that you do your best in school.
- I love how I come downstairs on Saturday morning to find you sitting in front of a very quiet TV watching cartoons. You usually don't have a shirt on because you go too hot in the night and are wrapped in a blanket because you are cold in the morning.
- I love how you sneak in my bed to snuggle.
- I love that you show great leadership qualities. It does a Mom's heart good to know you will be able to lead those around you, for good, when you are older.
I LOVE GAVIN!

Happy Birthday Gavin! Looks like you got to spend some fun time with your family for your birthday! (Halle wants your secret on losing teeth, she turned 7 in August and has only lost two teeth.)

happy Birthday Gavin. That sure is a lot of teeth missing for a 7 year old. My 1st grader has only lost one. Those look like great pancakes. Have a fun birthday Pokeman birthday party.
Loved all the pictures of the leaves and your awesome hike. It must be getting cold. Our leaves have just started to change colors. They should peak near Halloween.
I think of this as birthday season in the Eborn family...September, October, November and December. I do remember your's Megan because I was there:)! Gavin, your are the cutest kid but the best things about you include how you treat others...you truly do care about others and their feelings. I love you very much and hope your special party today is a big HIT!
