I just got back from lunch with my wonderful husband. I tell him lots, but I want everyone to know how great he is! I called him at the spur of the moment to see if he could go to lunch, he had a meeting(of course) but he called me right back and said "Meet me at Costa Azul(cuz he knows I love Mexican) and I'll just be late to the meeting." I am so grateful he puts me first in his life. He is soooo busy with work and his calling that sometimes we(his family) get to feeling sorry for ourselves and wonder if he forgets about us. Little things like taking me to lunch on a cold, spring(maybe still winter), rainy, cloudy day make me VERY happy!:)
Thanks Philip -- I love you so much and am thankful for your patience with me every day!!!

You're a lucky woman Megan!! I wish we lived closer so Brady could take some lessons from Philip. I love my husband too- he's great for me, but I don't think I'd come before a meeting for work. As I type this he is in Italy (on work- yeah right, that's not really work- is it?) I'm a home alone with 3 kids for 12 days. One of these days he's going to owe me big time.
yeah, i think that a lot too -- like when he was in Guam and now is headed to the bahamas -- no not really work either!:) I think it's made me VERY grateful for the times he visually puts me first!:) Hang in there --- he will!:)
OK I know that you have a disclaimer but, that didn't stop me. I need bag. :) Kidding. Actually, I think that regarding the Italy trip... you could really work that situation.... shoes, purses, bags..... work it! ~Rene
PHilip is one of the best husbands I know so the fact that he was late for his meeting for you doesn't surprise me one bit! You KNOW how much Ellie loves him!
What a guy! You are VERY fortunate...always remember the glass half full thing!
Megan- I love this pic of you and your hubby. You guys are great! I have loved looking over your blog. I need to come back later and read thru it some more! I have thought about you guys a lot the last week as I have been 'stitching' your family on a thing I'm trying to make for Kristine. I am glad I can peek in on you! :)-Michelle
