Well, the nearest book for me is "Teaching, No Greater Call: A resource guide for gospel teaching"
P.123 sentence five states: "You may have worried not only about the seemingly superior knowledge and experience of many of those you teach, but also about the wide differences between them."
The chapter is titled "Understanding and teaching adults" Honestly, this is probably one of the most feared ideas by many people. Many of us believe that we don't know enough about gospel subjects to teach others. This Chapter will help to ease the mind on this one. Here are 5 common characteristics of Adult Learners:
1. They need to feel that they are loved and respected and are contributing something of value.
2. They want to learn by the Spirit.
3. They want to talk about how the gospel applies in their lives.
4. They desire to be self directed.
5. They are concerned about their family responsibilities
Apart from #5, I'd say that this is about the same as Primary!:) Next time you get called to teach an adult gospel class or give a talk...see p.123!
Angie M, Candice, Rene, Bart and Audrey -- you've been tagged!:)

Megan thanks for doing this. Brent's cousin tagged me. She is always being tagged and it is a fun way to get to know about the person when they post their answers. I really wished I had had the Ensign near me or something spiritual, but unfortunately, I was working on homework all last night and today, so this was all I had to post. Great sentence that was on that page you found!
Well, you know me-next to my bed I have 7 books.... I love to read. I am sharing a thought out of Jentezen Franklin's book "Right People, Right Place, Right Plan". LOL and its Chapter 10 - Women Always Make A Difference. I totally didn't plan that. 5th Sentence: "The Truth is, Satan is afraid of women b/c they are Gods secret weapons..." Ha! that is totally funny. Thanks for sharing the Andragogy! ~Rene
Okay, NOW that's FUNNY!:) LOVE it! SO true too!!!!
The book closest to me was one called "Into the Unknown" Page 123 fifth sentence. "It was unusual enough having a women present, but this one broke all decoram by jumping up, bursting into tears, and throwing her blanket around Chief Cameahwait, whom she suddenly recognized as her brother" This is from a story about Sacajawea and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. My thoughts turned to a day when I too will recognize my older brother and be in His presence.
Okay, so I'm not so good with secrets...not even my own!:)
I didn't know what that big word Rene wrote was -- I just looked it up - cuz I know there's some of you who don't know what it means either....
Andragogy is the process of engaging adult learners in the structure of the learning experience. The term has been used by some[citation needed] to allow a discussion of the difference between self directed and 'taught' education. However as the attitudes of society towards young people change, the differences in educational methods will tend to diminish. (Self directed education is encouraged in earlier age groups). Can you tell she's highly involved in the education process?? :) thanks for teaching me a new word Rene.:)
