We spend the past weekend in St. George with the Layton Eborns. First on the itinerary was Cracker Barrel. Gavin's restaurant of choice for his 12th Birthday!
Cracker Barrel is a family favorite. Introduced to us by Grandpa Bruce, and Gavin has continued the tradition. I think he just likes the mini syrup bottles.:)
And the fact that you can shop and play checkers while you wait for your food.
Megan and Gavin - we love and miss our cousins!!!
The kids and I wandered through town while Philip went to get the car...crazy as this sounds, we ran into a carousel on the way. So, why not ride it?:)
and by traditional things...I mean things like wrapping paper.:) A bag works too right?
We had lots of good fun in the pool!
On the way home we stopped at one of our "Las Vegas bucket list" spots. Valley of Fire.
I couldn't imagine being a Piute Indian living here. Wow -- we think it's hot in our a/c homes in the summer. We don't know hot.:)
The Birthday Boy at his finest!!
Philip headed us up to a rock called "Elephant Rock" That name would lead you to believe it was large, right?
Not so much. It wasn't tiny but I'm not so sure it was huge.:)
We love our Libbie.
Thanks for the fun times Philip! I love you!

We are glad you were able to spend some time with the Layton Crew. I know they enjoyed seeing each of you. It looks like everyone had a great time while you were there and on the way home. Keep on enjoying life and just being together. Gavin is growing up so fast, as are the others. We love you all.
Grandpa Bart
Hi, it's my turn, I sure love you
all and glad you had a good time
with your cousins. Your pictures
are so fun to look at. Dad & I are
realizing that when the grandkids
grow older so do we, ugh. I bet
our grandkids see more interesting
places than a lot of other grandkids. Nature can be very
interesting and we learn a lot from
places we visit. Thanks for being
great parents, you can tell the
kids are happy by just looking at
them. Have a great week.
Love, Grandma Iris
Papa Sweet and I are just sitting here trying to figure out how to get closer geographically to our family. I think after this gig, we are staying in the west!!!! We sure do miss you guys and love you all so much. Love the pix...we hope to see the Valley of Fire one of these days too:).
It was a great weekend! Thanks for sharing it with us. We love and miss you all so any chance we can spend some time together is awesome.
Gavin, thanks for sharing your b-day with us and going to Priesthood meeting.
Love you tons,
Layton Crew
