| We spend the past weekend in St. George with the Layton Eborns. First on the itinerary was Cracker Barrel. Gavin's restaurant of choice for his 12th Birthday! |

| Cracker Barrel is a family favorite. Introduced to us by Grandpa Bruce, and Gavin has continued the tradition. I think he just likes the mini syrup bottles.:) |

| And the fact that you can shop and play checkers while you wait for your food. |

| After Breakfast we headed to see these three cross the finish line of the St. George Marathon. We were so happy to get to see them. Amber, JT and Jason all finished with grace and smiles on their faces. Way to go guys! |

| The kids and I wandered through town while Philip went to get the car...crazy as this sounds, we ran into a carousel on the way. So, why not ride it?:) |

| When we got home, Gavin got to open a few gifts. He kind of got short changed on a few of the "traditional" birthday things...but he didn't care, he was with his cousins and that's all we all cared about.:) |

| and by traditional things...I mean things like wrapping paper.:) A bag works too right? |

| We had lots of good fun in the pool! |

| On the way home we stopped at one of our "Las Vegas bucket list" spots. Valley of Fire. |

| I couldn't imagine being a Piute Indian living here. Wow -- we think it's hot in our a/c homes in the summer. We don't know hot.:) |

| I wish I could express how much I love this photo -- these kids. Words don't do them justice. We love them so very much and are happy that they smile for our pictures so we can remember how much we love them when they have their teen/tween moments.:) |

We are glad you were able to spend some time with the Layton Crew. I know they enjoyed seeing each of you. It looks like everyone had a great time while you were there and on the way home. Keep on enjoying life and just being together. Gavin is growing up so fast, as are the others. We love you all.

realizing that when the grandkids
grow older so do we, ugh. I bet
our grandkids see more interesting

Papa Sweet and I are just sitting here trying to figure out how to get closer geographically to our family. I think after this gig, we are staying in the west!!!! We sure do miss you guys and love you all so much. Love the pix...we hope to see the Valley of Fire one of these days too:).
It was a great weekend! Thanks for sharing it with us. We love and miss you all so any chance we can spend some time together is awesome.
