First Day of School

Gavin took a quick trip with his dad to Del Webb  to check on the Wood Badge training course.  Of course he was able to take advantage of being at camp and he was able to do a little shooting.

We also hiked to a plane crash site that is on camp property.  Gavin thought this was really cool.

The kids all started school on Monday.  Garrett is now in 7th grade, Gavin in 5th grade, and Elizabeth is in 3rd grade.  Here is a picture of them this year.  The picture below this years picture is of the first day a year and a half ago when we moved here.  Everyone tells us our kids are growing fast and it really hit us that they are when we looked at the picture of when we firs moved here.

What goodlooking kids, they must
belong to some pretty awesome parents. There is 1 thing missing
in the picture, THE TREE!!!!
Philip will know what I mean.
Love you all and hope you will all
have a great year.

You had better stop feeding those kids. They are growing up so fast they will be out of th house before you know it. Well, not really, it's easy to see how they are not going to stay kids forever, Enjoy them while you've got them. They are all awesome and we love you one and all to pieces.

Wow, they have changed in the year and 1/2. We still miss you guys but are excited to see you soon. Have a good "Back to School"... I have no kids in Elementary anymore. Strange.

Love you guys,

Holy smokes! What a difference a year makes, huh? Those kids from a year ago are almost unrecognizable now. Have we really seen them that little? They are such great kids and growing up so fast! We're so happy to know you guys and be a part of the "growing up' years.
