New Years Eve

Goodness, just as I think I'm catching up on this journal -- I find more pics on the camera.  I'm grateful for more pics, it means we have memories to document.
We had a gathering of friends for New Years this year.  Very casual and low key -- and very fun.

We roasted marshmallows...

These are some cute girls!

I guess they all moved to Libbie's room after that...

while the boys were video gaming it up...

We played some cards...ate lots of food..people were in and out all night.  I felt like we had several different parties -- all different groups of people.  Friends are such an important part of life -- I'm glad people were able to come and hang out.

This will be a shocker to those of you who know Philip (not really) He started, yet another tradition, of our own personal Polar Bear Plunge at Midnight on New Years.  These three and another girl are the only ones who did it.  Brrrr!  They were in and out so fast that I didn't get a picture of them IN.  It looked like some good male bonding time.  You can see Libbie in the background with her swimsuit on -- she made it farther than I did.:)  Happy New Year!

Real Polar Bear Plunders chop a holes in the ice before they jump in. Oh, well it's alright to pretend sometimes.

I should have checked my spelling. I meant Plungers, but I guess Plunders works too.
