Libbie got to choose a career she was interested in, interview someone with that career, and present it to her 1st grade class.
Guess who she choose? Me! Her career was "Mother and small business owner"
Libbie has always been more maternal than I ever was or am. She loves tending her babies and playing house. She is dying to learn how to cook and sew. These are all things I've had to really work at as my "mom" career has progressed. I am excited that she naturally wants to do these things.
I wasn't able to be at her presentation so I asked her teacher to take a few pictures for me. Mrs. Hiler said she presented with confidence (as compared to her last presentation where Mrs. Hiler said she looked like she was going to cry) so we were all very proud of her.

This reminds me of Paige when she was about that age. She was determined to be a Jazzercise instructor and mom no matter how I tried to explain that might not be her ultimate goal:).
