Fathers Day

We are so lucky to have a great Dad in our home. Philip provides for us not only physically but spiritually and emotionally too. He seems to be able to keep up with all that is asked of him outside of our home and still give us each the attention we need.

We asked Philip what he wanted for Fathers Day and he requested a hike with his family. (We're not big on gifts that cost lots of money in this family, just those that cost time together!:)) We ended up having a great Sunday dinner together (something we don't get much of anymore) and then headed out to Kayscreek Trail. It's more of a walk than a hike, but nevertheless...it was time together.

These pictures don't look like too much but it was a definite "right of passage" for the boys. Their Dad said he used to sit in ice cold water and it would make him feel relaxed..I'm guessing more like numb!...so he asked both boys to get in the water to 'be like dad'. These photos show the LOVE!:)

HAPPY FATHERS DAY PHILIP -- WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Time with the ones we love make the best Father's Days, especially if you get to cool your _______ in a cold stream on a hot day.

Love you all and always,

Grandpa
