Libbie has been telling me what she's going to do when she grows up lately (well, for about 6 months now) so, for posterity's sake...
"Mom, when I grow up...."
...I'm going to have two kids, 1 boy and 1 girl.
(after I told her you couldn't determine the gender)
....I'm going to have 2 kids, I don't care if they are boys or girls.
...I'm going to drive a SMALL car, not a mini-van, because I will only have two kids.
...I'm going to live in your house, all together, if that's okay with you.
...I'm going to be a Kindergarten Teacher.
...I'm going to go to 4 years of college.
(after we told her it takes 4 years to be a Kindergarten Teacher.)
...I'm going to drive a school bus
(we told her you don't go to college for that, so she quickly changed her mind)
...I'm going to let my kids watch Sponge Bob.
...I'm going to always put my wallet in my purse and take my purse everywhere with me, even to work.(can you tell her Mom loses her wallet a lot)
...I'm going to draw and color with my kids.
Pretty much every day is filled with "When I grow up's" I tell her not to wish her childhood away -- but she seems determined lately
I'm just glad I get to spend NOW with HER!!

Those little girls. Are very different from boys for sure! That is a great photo of you and her.
That picture of you and her is "to die for cute"!!! Do you not let your kids watch sponge bob either? Funny that when we are kids we spend all our time wishing we were older- then when we are olde, we spend our time wishing we were younger. Guess we have to learn to live for the moment.
