So this morning - I got up at 6 AM...yeah, I know, I'm a SUPER Mom...getting up at 6 and all.:)(for those of you who don't know that I'm am NOT a morning person -- there is some serious sarcasm in there, I rarely get up at 6 AM!!) I don't know what it is, getting older, lazier, or the fact that Philip and I go to bed at 11:30 PM at the earliest...but I have a hard time getting up in the morning. The bags under my eyes are getting worse and this morning, I almost sprayed perfume in my armpits. Yeah, I was tired!
I suppose, at this point, I can say, I'm a work at home AND work out of the home Mom. Both are hard and both are time consuming. I have finally gotten the motivation (after 4 years of wanting) to paint our home. And so, I sew, I paint, I spackle and I fit in everything else in between. Yuck! (I'm pretty sure the answer to my earlier question - Why can't I get up in the morining? - is lazier.) I really don't like jumping from thing to thing anymore, I'm too tired. Take today for instance...
6 AM - wake...okay, it was 6:15 and I'm pretty sure I fell back asleep on the toilet before I got in the shower...sorry TMI!
7-8:30 - work on straps and make sure kids are ready for school
8:30 - doughnuts for kids, eat in the car and drop them to school
9 - Help set up for BSA Birthday Dinner tonight
10:30 - To post office to mail straps
11 - To Tai Pan to buy gift cards for well over-due thank you's
11:45 - Drop Libbie to school, run to walmart to buy supplies for 2nd grade classroom
12 - 1:30 - Help with Gavin's Valentine Party
1:30 - To Target to get birthday gifts for two birthday parties this weekend & Jo Ann's for strap supplies
2:30 - Home to get Garrett to his party
3 - To Great Clips to get Gavin & Libbie's haircut (WAY overdue)
3:30 - Drop Gavin at Cubs
4 - BLOG ( and work on straps)
4:30 - Pick up Gavin from Cubs
4:30 - 5:45 - Work on straps and get ready for BSA B-day dinner
5:45 - 10 PM - BSA B-day dinner
Now WHERE in there did I get the painting done??? I am paining tomorrow and Monday if it kills me (and it might)....anyone want to help -- come on over!:)

It's easy to see why you might be a bit tired. I didn't see any room in that schedule for you to be lazy... you've GOT to schedule some of that in!
What Mandy said!
There needs to be 48 hours in a day. or? Maybe not, You are a busy Mama.
I'd help paint if you lived closer...move down here:)
I feel the same way most days. I don't have a choice in the mornings though. Addison is on the bus @ 6:45. I too am hoping to get to some painting. My goal is Spring Break. Ammon is going to install some wainscotting downstairs and I am going to color up the walls.
Good luck w/ yours. Happy painting. Remember to breathe inbetween tasks. :)
you are awsome. I do appreciate your help friday for setup.
