Saturday was a perfect day to head to SLC. First we hit the Childrens Museum, no pics, we were having too much fun!:) Then to Temple Square to see the lights.
Check out those awesome hats -- they all made them by themselves!

We ran onto an awesome twist to our tradition. We got there early, saw all of the displays in the visitors centers and watched the outside Nativity....all before it got dark and crowded.

We headed to the Lionhouse Pantry for dinner...what yummy food, hot cocoa, and a fun place to eat as a family!

After dinner we walked back through Temple Square, saw the lights, fought the cold and crowd...but only for a bit, cuz we'd seen it all before dinner, and headed to the car. GREAT PLAN, if I do say so myself.
(Philip took these photos, isn't he getting good?!)

Maddie and I were looking at the Oregan photo's that we got from you ... and Maddie said "Uncle Philip has a good eye" I didn't know she even knew what that meant, but she was looking at one of the ocean photos.
He is great at taking them. Looks like a great day!
Glad you had fun. AND you made Maddie a skirt the same day. You are wonder woman.
Great pictures of the Temple and the lights. Looks like a great night.
What a great way to spend and evening during the Christmas season with family. Building good family traditions is very important. Keep it up. And, yes, I'm beginning to think has a good eye too.
We love you all and always,
Grandpa Bart
