Works in progress

We've been enjoying our summer so far. Nothing exceptional, swimming, playing, riding bikes, park, and lots of chores. Here are a few other things that are keeping me busy.

Of course, our community garden, which is parked directly across from our house, keeps us all busy -- and look we have the starts of some produce!!!

I finally finished this quilt top for my step sister Heather. It's all created from her late Mother's clothing. I'm excited to put the back on, quilt it and send it off. ( i know these words are not in the right place, but I'm WAY too tired to fix it right now -- for now, just scroll down to see the quilt top:))

Great Job on the quilt. The garden looks to be coming along. Our garden is doing great too- the water sure helps.

Oh wow I LOVE that quilt. That takes a lot of talent to do that. And man alive I want a garden like that! Some day I will have one. Glad to see you're doing well.

Love, Shawni

Great quilt! I think it is really cool you have made those. Unless you quilt, you have no idea how hard it is to quilt! :) That garden looks so so fun! Love it! It will be fun to get the friuts of your labors. How does the community decide if you can have stuff? And what if you don't want zucchini but really love carrots? Well, it looks big enough for lots of people to enjoy!

There are no rules to the garden...just plant, weed, water (that's me:)) and harvest whatever you want!:)

That quilt turned out so nice! The garden looks great, too. I need to get my kids back out there.

Wow, that is an amazing community garden. It's huge!! I'm having fun with my first "garden". It's tiny but fun to see stuff grow. The girls are having a lot of fun seeing the strawberries grow and then eating them! Nice quilt too, you're simply amazing. Wish I'd know you were traveling through Price! It would have been great to see you.
