These are the "mini" version of the other bag I made. I'm pretty darn excited....Audrey and I created these together. She was a BIT stubborn through some of it (okay, so maybe it was operator error...) Anyway, I read the pattern, cut them out and created them all by myself.
You see, you nice people out there really think I make these projects alone --- little do you know Michelle is by my side most of the time and if she's not literally by my side, she's only a phone call away. Not with these bags people -- I am here to say -- I did it alone. I missed her company, yes, but I proved to myself that I could do it....alone.:)

Cute Cute!! I want one! I made Michelle promise to help me make one this summer, but I'll confess to being intimidated. I'm used to sewing on scrapbook pages, not fabric. She promises I can do it, although she's never helped me sew. She's going to regret it.
um, I think I have a birthday coming up soon... :) Way to go, you definitely have a talent for this!
VERY cute bags! Wish I would have RSVPed to the blog where you had to make something for me--I would be making a request! :) I bought a cute bag pattern, yet to try it out though...
Cute! I may have to pay you make me a couple. Love them.
I love these bags too! I don't know what it is, but I have a bag fetish right now.
You are getting really creative. Creative people are happier people and there are somany things to create, all the way from happy memories to the Great Pyramids of Giza etc
Wow, those are AWESOME!!! You are so talented!! I can't even sew a button on. I love the red one.....aren't we supposed to share our talents....hint....hint?? I'd love to pay you to make me one.
Great job!!!!!! They are so cute! I am very proud of you for doing it all by yourself. I feel kind of like the mama bird watching her chicks fly away.
And Kayla...I will not regret it. We will have fun!
Michelle
oh don't worry Michelle, I haven't learned to fly yet. Just because I followed a bag pattern doesn't mean I won't be back for everything else!!:) THANKS for being a great teacher!!!
Those are way cute.
I need that PATTERN!!! And I won't even need Michelle to help me! I don't think she would want to drive all that way anyway... PATTERN PATTERN PATTERN!
The patterns can be found at Www.quiltsillustrated.com. The little one is the mini bow tucks and the big one is the weekender tote.
well I'm impressed as always! Aila makes all her own bags too. I've never even attempted something like that...too many small corners! They are REALLY CUTE!!
Thanks!!!
Beautiful! I love the fabric combinations too. You and Aubrey are a great team! My sister made me one for Christmas last year, she told me that steps so I made a few. I think I will try some more with the pattern you posted, so fun!
