A vacation does a lot of things, but overall it helps me to reflect on what I DO have and quit wanting what I don't have.
I am grateful beyond words for these guys...
I fall in love with this guy more and more each day....especially when he puts me to bed at 8 PM cuz I fell asleep on the couch sitting up....AND let's me sleep until 8 AM!!!!
We all love different aspects of this earth. Personally, I like them all...deserts, prairies, mountains and beaches. It's not any secret that my all time favorite is the coast --- it helps me to feel closer to the Lord and his creations. I think some misinterpret my love for the coast as this -

NOPE, I mean this!
More photos to come -- Philip had the camera all week and you know what that means -- YEP, plenty of scenery pics.;) When I have a few hours to edit and post, I'll get them up.
For now, I'm off to use these....

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Oregon. It really is a beautiful area, especially along the coast. Did you get to see Mount Hood as your drove down the Columbia. On a clear day it is one of the most beautiful mountains ever. We're glad you all made it home safely and had a good time together.
Looking forward to more pictures.
Happy Coupon Shopping!
Glad you had fun! Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!
YAY for coupons! Love them! Hope you are using PYP, and maybe looking into the food co-op. Great places to look to save money!
Bart yes, it was a beautiful sight to see Mt. Hood. The sun was shining, the mountain was tall and the snow was white.:)
what is the food coop? I use grocery smarts, and pinching your pennies.
As soon as I saw that picture I knew it had to be Oregon! I know what you mean about loving the coast. I don't know what we'll do if we ever move away. Hope you got some sunny days!
Beartiful pics. I love the Oregon coast. I've only been once, a looong time ago, but it made an impression.
That looks like a beautiful vacation. Can't wait to see more.
try googling (don't think that is a word) food coop salt lake city. It is local food for less. Meats fresh, grains. It is about $23 for a "share" of food, and a $5 fee for your life time membership. They require 2 hours of community service a month, which I am sure that you have well under you belt. Anything counts, as long as it is volunteer. Church, school etc. Anyway, a friend of mine did it last month, and then price matched what she got at walmart. She wold have paid $12 more at walmart for what she got at the co op. Anyway, great way to get fresh local food, and support your community. I know that they do have one up there, I looked it up a while ago.
go coupons!!
im glad you had such a good time, but im just happy youre back in the neighborhood:)
Looks like you had a good time. Where did you go? Vacations are so great. We had some mini vacations while we had family in town 3 different times this spring. It's great to have an excuse to vacation near your own home town.
