it's a start

yesterday was so beautiful. I'm not sure what the temperature was, maybe 60? It all becomes a blur to me....cold, colder and coldest in the winter and then when it starts to change, I tend to think 40 degrees is 60....anyway...it was beautiful.

I was out in my capri's and flip-flops, but not wanting to seem too excited I put on a long sleeved shirt and started working in the yard. I was back inside in a flash to change my shirt -- I was actually hot. Whoo hoo!!!!

I got some yard work done, cleaned out the garage, soaked up the vitamin D and said a little prayer it would last a while. Today is starting out a bit the same...Candace, throw out the neighborhood blanket, I think we may have started Spring!

Isn't it funny how it's all relative? In the spring 55 is SO warm, ready for capris and flip flops, but in the fall 55 is time for sweaters and woolen mittens. :)
I LOVE spring!

I have SO been soaking up the sunshine for the past few days here in TX--it truly is good for my soul. As much as I loved living in western NY, the winters were BLEAK and so long--for that reason I glad to be somewhere (as ugly as it is here) where the sun shines lots and it's a bit warmer. I hope spring is really there for you and you have lots of sunny days ahead!

I hear ya sister! I came home from work yesterday and immediately headed outside to clean the outside of our windows. Wierd that we are so excited to be outside and work. It was a blast. I too had to come in to change my shirt. I was sweating. Let's hope our prayers will be answered and it will stay.

Happy spring!

We too are enjoying the warmth. Hope it stays. Can't wait to see
some pretty spring tulips. Thank
goodness for changes of seasons.
Makes us appreciate all kinds of
weather. We don't have a lot of yard here in Logan to clean up, but
we do in Montpelier, so we'll have a big project there. Enjoy the sun

Spring is very pleasant weather, when there is nothing else but spring. Only problem is ist can change in an hour. I always figure that the He who controls the weather knows a lot more about it than I do, so I will take what comes and love it.

I agree how in Spring 40 degrees feels quite nice, relatively speaking and then in Fall, that same temperature is incredibly cold. Oh well. Spring is beautiful though - I love the flowers that come with Spring and how green everything is.

I'm loving it here too. Clint has even started walking after work! I'm getting some yard work done. Decided I have to define "yard" so I don't get overwhelmed! But I just love being outdoors for a few hours in the afternoons. Still holding here...hope it stays this way!
