I spent a little time sewing today--and a lot of time reorganizing the basement, along with thinking of all the other things that need to be done in this house. I finished up a Valentines runner(yes I know, it's March) and 2 of
these skirts. If you haven't seen it yet check out my latest favorite site,
U Create. I also have a button on my sidebar. Great ideas!

Love ya!
P.S. thanks for the recipe....St. Patty's as usual was a fun crazy green GREEN night at Great Grandma's...
Did you make one for Elle too? Just curious. They are really cute and Libbie will love it (or already does!). I was just thinking the other day that you've inherited this love for sewing from your Mimi. She always love to sew and in the last 5 years or so before she died, she was able to take some classes to learn to do things she could never quite figure out. She loved it and was VERY good at it.
well I do love it. Probably a little bit from both gramma's:).
The one pictured is for our neighbor Clara. Her birthday is next month. I did make one for Elle, it just has a longer trim on the bottom. I need to figure out how to make one a little longer for Libbie -- maybe another ruffle or another fabric on the bottom?
ang -- ttys=talk to you soon:)
Too Cute!!! I've gotta make my girls some! Thanks for sharing --Amy (ps. I had no idea you knew how to sew--you are simply amazing.) (ps-2. You could make it even longer by adding a trim at the top for the case/waistline?)
