We couldn't be more proud

"Rotting Apples" and "How low can you go?" were the two best science projects I saw this year at the Elementary School Science Fair. These boys worked really hard on their projects to make sure they were following the scientific method. We are proud of them. I don't remember doing any science projects unless they were mandatory -- so way to be boys!!
Garrett has placed the past two years. Lesson learned in 09: you don't always place at the science fair. Gavin was awarded an Honorary Mention. We told him it was like 4th place....or 5th, or 6th, or 7th.:)
I was able to record scores this year. It gave me some good insight as to how close the scores really are. All projects are judged by Hill Air Force Base employees -- scientists and engineers. The boys are interviewed by three judges and then we take the average of all three scores. They both did GREAT!
