Not to be forgotten

I found one last picture from Christmas that I wanted to post. Libbie loves to paint her grandma's fingernails. One of the sweetest things to be remembered about Grandma Maggie's passing is that she was passed away with the fingernail polish on that our little Libbie had painted on her fingernails a few weeks earlier. She has painted Grandma Iris's nails and here she and Mimi are painting away. Great memories!!!

My sisters and I used to put little ponytails in my grandma's hair. It's nice to have those kind of memories.

That's so sweet. That's your mom in the picture isn't it? She's not the Grandma that passed away is she? Hope you guys are doing well and surviving the end of the winter. The cold sure gets old by this time of year. You probably have to endure it much longer than we do here.

So cute! Those are great memories to have. Can she teach Sophie that it is ONLY for fingernails. So far she has ruined a dress, two quilts, 1 unfortunate barbie, carpet....
