WOWZA!

Albertsons does it again.

This morning I hit the grocery store with my trusty shopping buddies Libbie and Michelle. Gavin hitched a ride as he was "sick" today.:)

The Eborn family has now added to their stash:
  • 6 boxes Progresso Chicken Broth
  • 18 jars Skippy peanut butter
  • 4 5 pound bags of flour
  • 6 cans of Progresso soup
  • 6 boxes of Green Giant vegetables
  • 15 boxes of cereal
  • 3bottles of Suave Shampoo
  • 2 bottles of Sauve Conditioner
  • 1 Suave Detangling spray
  • 5 bottles of Kids suave shampoo/conditioner
  • 5 Betty Crocker cookie pouches
  • 24 Trix yogurts(Gavin and Libbie are in heaven)
  • 5 Betty Crocker Frosting's(Garrett will be happy)
  • 3 boxes of Betty Crocker mashed potatoes(another Garrett pleaser)
  • 3 bottles of Dove Shampoo
  • 2 bottles of Dove Conditioner
  • 6 bars of Dove soap
  • 5 pounds of chicken tenders, individually wrapped from the butcher
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 12 packs of Dentyne gum(Philip will be happy)
  • 3 pounds of bananas
  • 5 pounds of apples
  • 1 bag romaine salad
  • 5 bags of Cascade Action pacs
  • 5 boxes of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 5 bottles of Best Foods Mayo
  • 15 bottles of All Laundry Detergent
  • 5 bottles of Suave Lotion
  • 5 Suave Deodorants
All for $136.11

With a savings of:
Coupons: $209.44
Preferred Savings(Albertsons store card): $195.63

A grand total savings of $405.07

Yes, it pays to play the game and use the coupons. If you have any questions about these coupons see here. I use www.grocerysmarts.com (use the passport g84ro1) and you can get the deals. If you are in another state, you'll have to check to see if your Albertsons has the same sales, but I bet they are at least similar. You can also use www.pinchingyourpennies.com. To me the grocery smarts website is much easier to navigate when you are starting. Even if you don't have coupons, some of these are still a great sale.

WOWZA WOWZA WOWZA! That is OUTSTANDING! I never go to Albertson's because I think it is so expensive-I guess I need to rethink that! Good for you!!!!!

Albertsons is way too expensive if you don't play the sale/coupon game. It sure beats the heck out of that football field size Walmart store though.:)

So I'm still waiting for my personal trainer to come through on this for me...and believe me I NEED IT now! Call me sometime soon when you have a little free time (does that ever happen?) so tutor me....PLEASE!

Good job! I'm almost as impressed that you had the energy to arrange it all for a photo shoot after the grocery trip. I'm lucky to get it all out of the trunk some days! How exciting...

mandy since Gavin was home sick -- I had 4 other hands to help me. I had them bring it all in from the garage, hand it to me for the picture and bring it all downstairs. They are wonderful!:)

Megan,

That's a lot of peanut butter. We live 25 miles from the nearest grocery store and Donna likes to stock up, but you have beat! Will you come to OK and shop for us?
