Monday: Hike Day & T-ball too

For the past 3 Summers we hike on Mondays. The kids whine and complain while we get ready -- then they have a great time on the trail. Today we went with two other families in our neighborhood. Lots of kids makes for a long trail & GREAT memories!

Most of the kids found walking sticks...some larger than others!:)

Tonight Gavin had one of his last T-ball games. He has done great this season -- especially considering it's his first year. Today while he was pitcher he fielded the ball a ton, made several plays and he hit the ball well too. Way to go Gavin!!
He never lacks for friends or great poses for the camera!

That looked like a lot of fun (the hike - well, maybe the t-ball too. We're not big baseball fans around here, but that's adult baseball. It has to be so cute to watch the kids do it!)

Gavin...I'm so happy that you like baseball and that you have such fun playing it and playing with your friends...life is good, eh?!
Megan, I tried the typing test...I could only get 83 wpm...oh well, in the old days that would have been phenonenal (before word processing machines).

I love the hike idea. We have zillions of places we could go...I just never seem to make it out of the house!! I think having a set time each week would really help. Jebb is big enough now that we could do more of this type of thing. That is such a great together thing to do.
