Gavin's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Chambers, gave this gift to Philip and I as a thank you for volunteering. First of all, isn't that an oxymoron? Volunteers receive a gift --shouldn't we do it for free?? Second of all, this is a dang cute gift.
It's two pairs of Old Navy flip flops inside a pitcher -- the note attached says:
It's time to "pour" out my feelings about how much I appreciate all your help in class...I certainly would have "flip"ed out on my own: without you, our year could have been a complete "flop"! Instead, you helped make it "pitcher" perfect!
Great idea for a unique thank you!

Okay, now that is really cute! I think I may have to copy it at some point for a gift, thanks for sharing it!
I like that a lot. I find a lot of great projects come from 'borrowing' ideas from other people! - Oh, and I found your blog! Cute stuff.
Who is more creative than a early grades elementary school teacher. And it doesn't hurt people to thank volunteers. In fact of more of us did it their would be more voluteers. Heavan knows the world need them.
