18 years of real world education

18 years -- that's the combined number of years our children have been alive -- and WOW they are smart!:)

These are some of their amazing statements(sarcasm implied):

Garrett: "Dad, we made this pizza tonight and if we don't like it -- then we suck" (gotta love the words they learn from friends)

Gavin: "Mom, I think you're being a little too hard on Libbie, she's only 4"

(garrett is walking home from Eborns -- so I say "Garrett, do you want to get in the van or should I get out and walk home with you"
Garrett: Ummm, (pause) is walking by myself an option?"

Libbie: "Mommy, Jesus is WAY smarter than you!"

Gavin: (during Stake Conference in a very soft whisper)
Mom, 16 + 16 = 32!

Garrett: Mom needs to practice keeping her temper... but, she has kept it under control on Sunday mornings, so I don't think she needs to practice anymore. (getting those kids ready alone every week gets tedious -- but the blessings of his calling outweigh the Sunday morning storm.)

Libbie & Gavin: (after a good meal of pizza and while pulling up shirts to compare tummies) Look how BIG mine is!!! Mine is way bigger than yours!!!

Oh the joys of being a parent!! I'm grateful for their amazing knowledge!!LOL

That's so great that you can remember all of the funny things your kids say. I keep telling myself I should carry around a notebook so I can jot those moments down because I soon forget....
Very funny!
