Philip and 3 other leaders took 3 Venturers down to do some mountain biking and practice their canoe skills on the Green River.
They are headed to Camp New Fork this summer for their High Adventure Canoe Trek. I guess they quickly found out who could be in the back of the canoes. They also learned about getting wet a few times.:)

Sounds like Philip is still out adventuring. It was a nice day for some canoe and biking practice. I'll bet the boys had a hard time talking Philip into that, NOT? I'm sure he was able to help them all and considering how many times he ran the big rapid at the end of Oneida Narrows I'm sure he was in it mostly to get his picture taken. He's still almost as cute as he was when he was about four years old.

Seeing the pictures makes me miss they Green River... we need to take a trip out there ourselves. Looks like so much fun! Good for Phil. ~rene
