Our ward(church group) does an activity every quarter or so called "Guess who's coming to dinner?" Everyone signs up (Some sign up to host) and no one knows where they are going or who is coming until a few hours before.
We hosted last night and the evening turned out great! We had 3 other couples over all at different stages of life and it was GREAT to get to know all of them better.
Conversation moved from where we were from to internet interests to gloves that you can't cut through??;)

It sounds like you had a great guests at dinner. It is amazing how the conversation can flow into many topics. We went to the Buckways, along with the Musgrave's and talked about televisions to the Wii and of course children.
That sounds like such a fun way to get better acquainted with people in the ward. I am glad you had fun on your trip. It is so important to take time our to enjoy life! ~Candice
