Lots of Learning and Fun

We learned that Corwin International Magnet School has uniforms, serious uniforms.  These kids were frustrated at first about them, but learned that when everyones wearing the same thing, it's no big deal. 

I learned how to be a crossing guard for a week at Corwin to get some of my volunteer hours in.

We learned that even when it's our Anniversary and we try to get away to a movie, great minds think alike and we may end up at the same theatre as our parents!:)

We learned that snuggling is the best medicine. 

We learned that even if a ward doesn't have a Scout program functioning when you first move in, you can help to get that program going and keep your boys advancing.  

I learned that lots of people like to pay $5 to park across the street from the State Fair, it's cheaper than the $10 Fair parking and it's a fun way to meet people and fundraise for Cross Country HS Team. 

We learned that the slides at the Colorado State Fair are pretty fun.

I learned I still don't like the Ferris Wheel.

I learned I'm too old and queasy to go on any "spinning" rides anymore. 

I always knew these guys were pretty cute!
