Cooking Class

My friend, Melody, and I decided it was time for our girls to learn a little bit more about cooking.  We realized that they would learn better with their friends so we started a small cooking class.  We meet once a week at my house.  Lucky for me, I do the coordinating and Melody does most of the teaching.  We have so many cuties this age we needed to split into two sessions.  First session is done, on to the second session.  We have been so excited to see/hear that the girls are really learning - they've gone home to make dinner for their families.  Yeah!
Here they are browning the beef for tacos.

Day 1 was decorate our aprons and pancakes.  Day 2:  fruit pizza and nutrition (not totally related:)) Day 3:  Tacos, complete with homemade shells Day 4:  Spaghetti dinner: green salad, garlic bread and homemade spaghetti sauce.  In the end they get a recipe book with all of the recipes they made.
Libbie was whipping up some taco chips for us one night.  Yumm!:)

It is so great that you "coordinate" these kinds of things for your kids. Seems like Lib has a great group of girls her age. That is a real blessing! And I think Melody is a great blessing too:)! You can cook a meal for me next time we visit Libbie!
