Pheonix for a few days

Last Spring, Papa Bruce called to say he had tickets to a Diamond Backs game if we'd like to come.  I purposely chose a game that was while the boys were gone so that, again, the other kids would feel like they had some fun during Jamboree as well.

Last year Grandpa brought us this Lucha Libre mask.  Our wise child Gavin remembered to pack it and even though it wasn't Lucha Libre night -- he wore that thing with pride.  It's a good thing too! It earned us a spot on the BIG SCREEN!  Diamond Backs happened to lose to the Cubs that night but we didn't care...we got on the big screen.  We were all up dancing to "I like to move it move it" with the madagascar animals.  It was such a fun night.  Who knew getting on the screen could make your whole day?:)

This girl is for sure my daughter.  A baseball game isn't complete without the hot dog!

Grandpa had also been planning a trip down the river.  All summer he'd been talking to the kids about tubing down the river with them.  I have to admit I was a little apprehensive...but it was a blast!

We tied all our tubes together and floated for a few hours.  Dad and I could hardly walk when we got out -- but we had fun.:)

After the River we headed to the Ranney's to see our new baby cousin Angus.  He had THE best smile.  Libbie had fun tending him.

But quite honestly, not as much fun as Joe did.  He and Beth are great parents and Nelson and Renee are in 7th Heaven as Grandparents.  It was fun to see them all doting over this cutie!

We were having so much fun we decided to stay an extra day.  We went shopping and got Libbie a few school clothes and to the movie to see "turbo"  It wasn't half bad.:)

Libbie loves wearting the martini glass glasses when we go visit.  Ahh the novelties of a grandparents home.
