Spring Break - Point Loma Lighthouse

We didn't get a photo of the Cabrillo Monument itself...but we did get the sign.:)

Point Loma Lighthouse is a small one but it certainly served it's purpose.  I kept thinking of the hymn that says "Brightly beams our Father's mercy" while we were there.  The light keepers had lonely jobs.  Their families sacrificed a lot.  Yet, think of all the lives they saved from crashing into the cliffs.  My how they had purpose!  There was a sweet spirit there.

Beautiful girl.

There was tide pooling down below the lighthouse.  We saw lots of creatures.  It was a lot of fun!

This hole was pretty cool.  In the end, the boys ended up climbing up out of the tide pooling area through it.

The lighthouse stop was our favorite day.  What a great state park.

I agree about your feelings about the Lighthouse
We can see our Heavenly Fathers hand in many
things we see if only we are in tuned to look.
You and Philip are teaching your special
children many wonderful lessons in every aspect
of their lives. Sometimes we have to help others
how to see the works of Father In Heaven, then
they can see them for themselves because they
have been taught. We love you all and hope to
get down to see you soon.

We are all "light houses". In some of us, however, we need to turn up the power and truly "let our light shine." Tht's more personal advice for your truly than for anyone else, but true nonetheless.

Love you all forever,

Grandpa Bart
