Oceanside with Grandma and Grandpa

We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Eborn come down for a visit.  They spent a few days here in Henderson and then we met them down in Oceanside for a few days of fun in the sun.

We arrived at the San Diego Temple after dark hoping to catch the Christmas lights still.  They weren't on but some of the nativity scenes were still up.  Beautiful nevertheless.

We enjoyed watching surfers and seeing the sights from the pier.

Time alone is precious

Close....but not too close!  We watched a fisherman feed this pelican a whole fish -- it's was pretty cool!

The next day we went down to Carlsbad to meet Paige, Marty, and Jillian at the beach

Is it any wonder that Megan loves the ocean?  We had so much fun just being together in nature and dancing with the ocean.  It was hard to come back home but we are glad that we get to go back in February.

These are absolutely wonderful pictures Phillip! Thanks so much for sharing. The kids have grown so even since we last saw them a few months ago! That pic of Gavin facing the ocean with his arms extended reminds me of Papa Sweet...he expresses himself like that often:). Love you guys! Wish you could sneak in a trip to Kingsland, TX this spring!

It was a great time for us to spend a few days with you in a little warmer clime. Thanks for putting up with us and showing us a good time. You got some great pictures too. The hard part is trying to decide which ones to put on the blog.

Love you all forever,

Grandpa Bart
