October happenings

Good old Daddy/Daughter conversation going on at Gavin's last football game.  She does LOVE her daddy!

Gavin and his buddy worked on a 5th grade project together a few weeks ago.  They had to build the FBI Building in Washington DC.  They both worked hard and learned a lot.

Due to the sun - this was the better photograph -- but it's the back of the building.  and I had to put in this photo because their teacher Mrs. Ski (Sokolowski) is behind them.

We got to go camping with some of our friends, The Collins (and Caitlyn Zaniewski) over Nevada Day weekend.  We had a great time.  It was a bit cold for us desert dwellers.  Here we are getting ready for Carters birthday bash.

And here we are trying to stay warm after breakfast.  The sun was just about up -- that good old nevada sun, it always saves us!  The kids had a great time...made forts, shot guns, played games and got nice and dirty!
We haven't been quite as busy as of late.  What a blessing.  Our lives are very much normally busy and still trying to keep up but nothing like the past 6 months have been.  Thank heavens for that!  It's been nice to get reaquainted with each other.

Some times it's in the quiet, unplanned moments that we accomplish the most important things. Being busy is good, but sometimes we allow ourselves to become so busy that we forget what really matters most.

You are all great examples to us.

Love you all and always,

Grandpa Bart
