Hodge podge

Here is a hodge podge of photos from the past month. My business always takes me away from photos and blogging- but I did try to catch a few moments.

Gavins class had a thanksgiving feast this year before thanksgiving break. Lucky us- dad came home early that day so I drug him to the school with me. Turned out to be a great time!

Libbie has adopted Sister Devbie Goates as her Vegas grandma. Debbie is an amazingly talented woman - she substitute at the elementary, sews, bakes, decorates, tutors an teaches piano. In the summer she opens her pool to the neighborhood kids. Its no winder libbie took to her the first time she met her.
Debbie met libbie at the school, walked her home, had an after school snack waiting and sewed a bag with her. Wow- a little girls dream come true!

I have been staying up late to sew lately- libbie gift wrapped her monster high doll( creepy doll) and gave her to me for good luck one night. Sweet girl.

At a youth Christmas party Philip snagged a snuggie! It has been the envy of the house ever since.

We were very nervous to wake up to a frozen pool one morning. No damage and we quickly figured out what happened. The kids were super excited .

Thankful for a phone with a camera and text so Kenna could help me decide if these pillows would work for Christmas- we decided they do:)

Weirdest thing ever- I poured oj into this glass. Nope, it wasn't hot but it split right down the middle. Didn't even make a cracking sound. I turned away for a second, looked back and this is what it looked like.

We had a skiff of snow on the hills and a bit on the car. Another Henderson phenomenon.

Finally, libbie went on her second field trip to the strip. A bit weird, yes. But it was to the mandalay bay shark reef. She loved it!

You have a talented poltergiest, it seems. (the cup)
You should send that pic of Phil to the Snuggie company, he might get an endorsement deal!
It was so good to see you Sunday. My kids were so excited to walk in and see your kids. Wish it could've been longer.

Hey, I wish you would have drunk that OJ. Then there would be two of you. How great would that be?

Love you all and always,

Grandpa Bart

Looks like you had a lot going on
in your house. A SNUGGIE? Too bad
it wasn't a zebra striped one.
Maybe I'll get Dad one of the new
ones that are like PJ's, maybe they
would keep his knees warm at night
and he wouldn't ache so much.
We sure enjoyed having you stay
with us while you were here, sorry
about Megan's flat iron, hope she
can get a new one (hint). It was
good to have the family together.
Have a very Merry Christmas and
remember we love you all.

Love, Grandma Iris
