Second stop , Layton Utah!
Just like in Colorado, we had lots of family that we wanted to see in Utah, so I asked Jason and Rene if they would host a BBQ at their home so that we could all gather there on the 24th of July. Of course, without hesitation, they said yes and hosted an awesome time for us all. Thanks so much to all who came and especially to The Layton Eborn's for hosting!
I don't have any pictures to prove it -- but Philip was even able to make the drive up from Cedar City-Zions area (where he is running Camp Del Webb, BSA) to be with us. He had to leave that night after the gathering...but we were so grateful for his sacrifice(lots of driving for a very short visit) to come see his family.

We had a good time at Jason and Rene's and had a great time with those that could make it. Thanks for hoisting us all. We especially appreciate Philip driving so far in the night just to spend a few hours with the rest of us. We have an awesome family and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. The Keeper of the Stars sure knew what he was doing when He helped us get together.

Great pictures. We did have a lot
of fun being silly. That dance
video is so funny, watching everyone try to copy the dance
moves. Thanks for getting all of
us together, Jason and Rene made
everyone feel at home and put out
some good food. I think everyone
enjoyed Samantha's red, white and
blue frosted strawberries and
Chalisa's cake decorated with
rasberries and blueberries.
