Until next season

Gavin had his last game and end of season party for little league last week. He had so much fun he didn't want it to end. That's saying something for his teammates and coaches. The Yankees only won one game our of the season but they learned so much. Beginning of the season they were getting beat 13-1 and towards the end they were at about 5-4. We are proud of Gavin for starting down the road of really learning good sportsmanship. He no longer cries when he strikes out and even hits a double every now and again. They voted Gav the most improved player this year! He became a pretty good pitcher ( his last 6 innings he only let in 2 runs) and he can hit a mean line drive!
We were thrilled with his head coach- he really taught the boys some great skills.

Sandy and Pat- Gavins awesome coaches!

I'm glad Gavin had a good experience with his baseball. Now he can look forward to the fall season. Believe it or not, a lot of lessons can be learned from sports that can be applied to life in general. Baseball has always been an important part of our lives.

Love you all and always,

Grandpa Bart
