My hobby

I started Made by Meegz last year so that I could help to fund my "habit" yep, the quilting habit that I had been forming in the years prior. Since the company is going so well I don't have much time to do projects for me anymore. The money I'm making pays for extras such as vacations, different activities for the kids, fun family time activities around town - so don't get me wrong, we still spend it:) but it should be being spent on my hobby as it was originally intended.

So last week I got a few things done that had been waiting for the past year. Some were Christmas presents and some were for our home. I have to thank, as usual, my sweet friend Michelle. She made a point to help me for several hours the other morning so I could get some unfinished projects done..thanks Michelle!! As of now, I have 3 items at the quilters and one more one the way along with one that just needs the binding sewn on. Yeah!!

Two of the projects are called "block of the month" quilts that I would love to have done some day and I do mean some day.:) Here is a picture of the one we just started.
