Jamborall 2010 - Trapper Trails Council

Philip took the boys to the 100 year Celebration of the Boy Scouts of America - The Jamborall. It's a camp out for the Boy Scouts so he just took the boys for the evening and then back again in the morning. At first they didn't want to go, they thought it would be another boring "job thing" with Dad. Boy were they wrong...the next morning Gavin was up at 7 AM with his Scout shirt on, ready to go.:)

They love the acapella singing group "Eclipse." Lucky boys got to see them close up!

Unfortunately, they missed the skydivers that brought in the American Flag for the morning flag ceremony...how cool is that?! When I finally got them out there on Saturday the festivities were rockin'! I was just going to drop them off so I didn't dress appropriately and Libbie was still in her PJ's...but it looked so fun, we headed in for a few minutes.

Maddie and Jason were on security patrol...watch out for those two!!

what's better than a boy in a bubble?

...a girl in a bubble!:)

Garrett is getting to be an awesome climber!

Philip said Gavin did great on the BMX dirt bike course...

and monkey bridges are every boys dream!!!

Those boys came home happy and needing a bath...just like I like them.

Looks like everyone had a great time. I agree about Jason and Maddie on patrol, she'll make sure
everyone behaves. What a wonderful
experience for everyone. I like the
bubble pictures. Garrett is doing
great on his climbing and Gavin
makes a perfect monkey. Love you all.

Looks like a GREAT time! You know we have a climbing wall here at the community center. I'll make sure to get Garrett on it this summer!

The kids had a great time and it looks like the whole afair was a resounding success. I have just a little bit of an idea about what it takes to make something like this happen. Jason called and said he even saw some of my old Montpelier scouts there. I was thrilled. The Bear Lake people have to put out a little extra to be involved in these kinds of activities, but I was excited that they made the effort.

Love you all and always,
