Gav's greatness
Earlier this year Gavin got to give an oral animal report. He chose to report on the Python. Wow -- did you know a python can eat a Kangaroo...yup. Crazy, huh. We saw a picture of one python that killed itself because it ate a crocodile and the crocodile cut it in half -- from the inside out. Now THAT'S some good research for a 2nd grade boy.:)
Gavin did great in his presentation. He presented the facts and then had the class play a "jeopardy" game with the pictures on his poster.
More recently, they had a talent show in his class. He was able to share his talent of making brownies. They might be straight out of a box -- but he practiced from start to finish at home LOTS of times. We had more than enough brownies to go around. He did better than some cooking shows.:)
I am proud of Gavin. His ability to speak in front of people has improved a lot this year. It's tough to get up and give a "speech" in front of your peers, but he did great!

I'm sure Gavin did well. I'd have like to have been there to see and hear his report. Way to be, Gavin.
Love you tons,
Grandpa Bart
Hey, Gavin I would like some of those brownies, they look yummy.
I'm sure you did a great job showing you class how to make them.
Your poster on the snake looked
very informative, Of course I'm
not very fond of snakes but it's
good to know about them. I guess
that crocodile showed that snake
he didn't want to be dinner. Good
job!!!!
Love Grandma Iris
They are some talented kids. Cute Too!
Go Gavin!!! I've always know how talented you are and am so glad you got to show your classmates. That python thing sounded really cool and I'm REALLY sorry I missed the brownies! I love you infinity times around the block:)!!
Mimi
Don't be bringing any snakes to Aunt Rene's house. Only the brownies.
