That's all we heard around our house Monday and Tuesday of this week because Wednesday was the BIG DAY. The day we'd all been waiting for....the Kindergarten Zoo field trip! It was my third and final Kinder Field Trip.
I woke up to stormy rain, wind, sleet, hail, lightening, thunder -- and OH was it going to be a great day! Luckily, and I do mean luckily(for me) the weather slowed and we had a pretty good time. Only one problem - -about 80% of the animals were out to lunch. Seriously, they must have been having tea parties by the dozens somewhere. Because they weren't at the zoo! I'd say our walk through the zoo was pretty darn fun considering the weather and lack of animals.
Our group was thrilled with the smell of poop, penguins picking each others dirt off and gorillas turning their bum to the window. Really -- what more could a Kinder Kid want?
