Here's a great plan I overheard tonight in the car.
Gavin: Hey Mom, what is that big castle building over there?
Mom: A place to have weddings and other things.
Gavin: Oh really, I thought it would make a great house for Libbie, Garrett and I to live in when we are older.
Libbie: For US? We're not living together.
Gavin: Yes we are, remember?
Libbie: Oh, you mean before we get married?
Gavin: No, even after we're married with our husbands and wives and kids.
Libbie: Oh yeah, so we don't have to drive lots of places to see our aunts and uncles and cousins, we will all live in one place.
Gavin: Yeah, three Dad's and two Mom's can work so we can afford that big of a house. We will each have 1 child and one Mom will stay home to take care of all three kids. Because that's what our Mom does, she takes care of three kids, so I think that one Mom can take care of everyone's kids.

That. Is. Priceless. I love it. And of course, everyone wants a really good view of Tarjeh too. :)
Your kids are so cute! They say the funniest things, don't they?
I love it...personally I agree with Gavin...it would work!
It's not such a bad idea.
all it would take is love, sweet love, coupled with a little bit of blindness. And he's right on when it comes to the economics of it all.
Gotta love that kid,
Grandpa Bart
I Love it! He has really thought things out! And, with that many incomes, the house could be so big that every family has their own wing - but the one mom would need a huge playroom and a couple of maids. Doesn't it just make you wonder what his career will be? My guess is something out of the norm and awesome!
Sounds like a brilliant plan to me! I wish my siblings and their kids were close by. Maybe we should look into a reception center. :) That is super adorable!!
Nice plan Gavin! Looks like he's got it all worked out- just so he doesn't have to take care of all the kids right.

Pure genius.
LMBO~ Too funny!!!!
What a fun plan. What he probably doesn't realize is that living in the same house with extended family for a long period of time will probably make him (or at least his wife) want a very long drive to visit everyone!
Good to know they're all planning ahead. Having everyone live together would make things simpler- in theory. My family loves to get together, not sure how long we'd love it if it was 24/7.
