I've never claimed to be original
I am always up for a good idea. Blogs are such a great way to be inspired by others. This idea was inspired by Shawni, check out her kids summer goals here. She has also inspired me to focus on a specific word for a while. She has a personal word for the year; I have been hearing the word respect ring in my ears lately (probably because I'm constantly saying it to my kids) so Philip and I thought it would be a good word for our family to focus on this summer.

I actually look at Shawnis blog from time to time and saw those charts that her kids did for their summer goals. It's good to have goals.
Me- I am taking the summer less stuctured because I push, push, push all school year and I need a break for the summer.
I had no idea Libbie was close to back hand springs already. Great!

Great idea, no matter who came up with it!
Love this! I was going to make everyone sit down yesterday and make them all set goals, but we never got to it. I guess I should have set a goal to get the goals set...
