orlando

Philip and I just returned from a National BSA Meeting to honor and inform the Top Volunteers. I was glad to be a part of it. These volunteers are, simply put, amazing!! I never cease to be amazed at the amount of time, knowledge, effort and money they donate to the great cause of raising our youth with great character and values.

I had planned to lay by the pool for a while, then lay by the pool for a longer while...but funny thing...it rained the whole time we were there. It not only rained but I laid in the room and watched tornado warnings a couple of the days. Yikes!! No tornado stopped our Hatian cab drivers though, they know what to do(or do they?) Not to worry, whenever it happened to not be raining I still went in the pool. I had a great time in the lazy river and the hot tub. No sun for me, but I still enjoyed myself. Philip, on the other hand, was in meetings. So sorry honey.:)

One of the highlights of the trip was a trip to the Temple. Some friends invited us to attend with them on Friday morning. We tried to attend in Nashville, that didn't work out. We tried to attend in Portland, that didn't work out. Finally, Orlando worked....thanks to the Wadmans.
Philip, Megan, CherylAnn Marchese, Ronda and Dave Wadman

It couldn't have happened without my awesome Mom. Thanks Mom for coming to visit and taking care of the crazies here. I know they enjoyed it and, of course, I did too! Love you!!

Any time away with just your "honey" is a great time. I'm
sure you missed the kids, but they
appreciate you more when you get home. Nice that your Mom could help you out. It's nice to go to
different Temples, thanks for going.

Love, Mom

Sorry the weather was not good. I'm sure you found time to do all of the important things and came away a little more relaxed and rested than might have been the case if the sun had been shining and you had gone to Disney World.
