Is it good parenting to lie in bed and holler out the door to your kids to get up, eat breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth etc. before school? Just curious....
Certainly. I think it's even better parenting if you go to IHOP with hubby and leave it up to the kids to get themselves ready and off to school on time. (I haven't done this YET but I keep threatening that I will...)

of course. Teaches independence. Plus, makes it so you trust if you do have to leave them in the morning they can do it!
