Libbie and I headed out at 8:30 to go to the gym and tumbling. Of course after I was done working out I got really cold -- the tumbling room was even colder -- so by the time we got home I was freezing. I showered to get warm and thoughts of snuggling up in front of the fire with my book I just started yesterday came to mind -- ah, with my workout out of the way, it seemed it would be a very nice relaxing day.
Then it happened, as it always does, my darn brain started thinking in the shower. Thinking of all I could do instead of curl up with a good book on a snowy day.
- work on Cub Scout stuff for Blue and Gold
- work on Tiger Cub stuff
- do laundry
- clean the whole darn house
- make a menu and a grocery list
- work on Libbie's baby scrapbook that I got out last night
- shovel and shovel some more snow
- oh -- and the list goes on.
Oh well my triceps were probably too sore to hold the book up anyway.:)

I played hookie from the world too in this snow storm...it was divine.
I read Glenn Beck's book "The Christmas Sweater" Wed. PM after coming home from library. Loved it. Fast read...very satisfying. Haven't done that in ages for all the reasons you mentioned and had forgotten how much I enjoy reading!
I know you love to read too so do something for yourself from time to time. Maybe you need to schedule it:)!
I know, i seem to need to schedule everything -- I promise to schedule to read.:)
