What is going on??

First quilts, now bows. What's going on with me? I honestly can't tell you -- but I can tell you I'm having fun. You know how when you go into a thrift store and after a while everything starts looking good and that's when you know you need to leave.:) Yeah, bow making may turn into that for me. The last one I made was pretty darn BIG.:)

Libbie loves them and that's all that matters. The ones in this picture are going to Elle and Gavin even made one for a girl in his class.

I LOVE your bows. With 3 girls, I need to know how to do that. We are ribbon and bow people. They always have one in their hair. Those one are really cute. YOu're very crafty.

These are pretty easy. Take three different kinds of ribbon (2 of each to equal 6 ribbons total) Lay them out fan like, tie them together with some wire. Tie a knot in another piece of ribbon and hot glue it around the bow(to cover the wire) actually before you do that you need to stick an old lady curler hair clip( mine are double pronged hair clips from the hair supply store) and stick one or both prongs through the wire. Either burn the ends of the ribbon (JUST BARELY:)) so they won't fray or use that fabric no-fray stuff. Wala -- a bow to CLIP in and not lose.:)
That's a pretty bad lesson, I know -- but I know you're smart enough to figure it out.:)

Remember how you thought your family was distracting on Sunday? They weren't, but I spent most of the meeting distracted trying to figure out Libbie's cute bow. I didn't know you made it. I thought it was very cute and perfect for the ribbon scraps I always have hanging around. I'm going to copy!

I am surprised! Didn't know you had a ribbon fettish in you! Bring some with you next time you come down that I can use on packages...I think they look great on them as well as hair! I'm a little past the ribbon stage and Clint's just not into it:)!
