Gavin, Libbie and I headed to Missoula, Montana this weekend. Papa Bruce, Kenna and Baby Elle were headed up for Elle's 2nd birthday party. So we decided to tag along.
Yup, that's us -- The Ranney Girls (minus Jessica, cuz you do count Jess!:))

We had many adventures in a few short days. First of which was, of course, DINNER!:) Paige and Justin took us to a grill downtown called Whitewater. It was delicious!
Yup, that's us -- The Ranney Girls (minus Jessica, cuz you do count Jess!:))Uncle Justin helped Gavin and Libbie build a birdhouse that Kenna had brought for the kids. Justin stayed on task all weekend to make sure the proper steps were taken to get the birdhouse put together, painted & dried before we left Sunday afternoon. We knew you were in the family for a reason Justin!:) THANKS!

You're so lucky to have sisters! Looks like you always have a great time! Be safe coming home!
I've been waiting for this post! Thanks so much for doing this for our family Megan...you're the best. I love ALL the pix...I have to admit I get teary eyed, but it's all good! Love you ALL so much and REALLY miss Kenna and Elle after being around them so much! So glad you were able to be together for Elle's celebration...and you're right about Kenna and Elle being beautiful, but forgot to include Paige and yourself....beautiful people - inside and out!
Yes you are lucky to have sisters. And thankst o you and the other sisters-in- law who make up for our family deficiency. Really we did try and try again. Results? Stpehen and Ryan. We'll take themand love them dearly, but they are not sisters to our daughter.
WELL -- to those of you who wish you had sisters -- remember the grass is always greener.
Along with Sisters comes trauma and drama! Most all of it is very unnecessary.:) I'm sure anyone WITH sisters will attest to this.
Of course there's the fun part of making sure everyone has T-shirts for the family reunion or party hats for the party -- but Alison, you were blessed with creativity for the WHOLE family!:)
Don't tell Philip -- but he might be a good sister -- he can hang on girls night out -- they all love him. He can also pick out a decoration for home like no other. Tai Pan is one of our favorite date nights. Love that boy!
I wasn't trying to be ungrateful for the brothers that I have. I love them dearly. There just is a different bond between us all because of being a girl. There is no blame to be had, it is how it was intended and I just envy their relationships. Perhaps, that is why I hold on so dearly to my children. They are what is closest to me. Sorry to sound like I am having a pity party. I love all my brothers and I just need to grab onto those wives of theirs and make a great relationship with each of them. Something more that I need to work on within myself.
Looks like lots of fun! You and your sisters look great. I personally like your dad and his crown. ;)
It looks like you and sounds like you had a great time! Spending time with family can always be fun.
